freckles can be found right in your kitchen?
Making your own simple, quick and easy natural skin care remedies will
fade freckles for just pennies. The trick is to be patient because it
will (and does) take time.
For many, that vast collection of ephelides, otherwise known as
freckles, can blossom on skin when consistently exposed to the sun, is
a source of frustration.
The more exposure to the sun, the more freckles are apt to appear.
And did you know that over time,
freckles can darken?
Especially on the parts of the skin,
like your face, that is
consistently exposed to the sun.
So what is a good treatment for freckles?
Why a natural "Freckles Facial" of course using proven natural ingredients!
There is a bounty of natural skin care remedies that will help to fade
your freckles.
Depending on what is in your pantry and
refrigerator, select what is on
hand and get started on making your own natural treatment for all those
pesky freckles.
Simply adapt any natural skin care recipe using one or two of these
ingredients that have effective lightening and bleaching properties.
You can also just dab a little of the juice of one of the proven natural active ingredients directly on the
freckled area to help them fade. . .
- Citrus juice from an orange, lemon or lime, cucumber
juice, and (believe it or not) onion all have natural bleaching
properties.
- Cucumber juice has natural conditioning and bleaching
attributes.
- Yogurt (along with other dairy products such as
buttermilk, sour cream and milk) is a natural lactic acid which will
gently exfoliate the skin to diminish freckles.
- Some other natural ingredients known for their
bleaching qualities include cranberries, strawberries, pineapple,
pumpkin, papaya, honey, and horseradish.
When a
natural
skin care remedy or
your own homemade facial treatment for freckles just isn't enough other
options include:
- Hydroquinone or kojic acid are over-the-counter
bleaching creams. A prescription is needed for hydroquinone at
concentrations over 2%.
- Tretinoin, otherwise known as vitamin A, retin-a or
retinol, is frequently used in conjunction with bleaching creams for a
more intensive freckle treatment.
- A Dermatologist or other certified professional can
perform a rather simple procedure called Cryosurgery using liquid
nitrogen to lightly freeze freckles.
- Laser facial treatments have come a long way in the
past decade. They are less invasive, safe, and quite effective as they
are specifically designed to target variety of skin conditions;
including freckles!
