Use a Skin Acne Toner After Washing Your Face

Use a Skin Acne Toner After Washing Your Face

I have found that using a skin acne toner is a great way to prevent outbreaks and to keep the skin conditioned.

Acne toners cleans away any remaining bacteria and dirt left behind after washing your face. Just look at the cotton pad you use when you are finished using your toner. I'm constantly amazed at what is left behind!

After religiously using a gentle acne toner twice a day, morning and night, I have found that I have many less outbreaks. My skin also looks much fresher and healthier. (I make sure that the acne toner I use has an antioxidant as an ingredient which also helps).

For older skin like mine, I am sure to look at the ingredient label to be sure that it doesn't have too much in the astringent department which I find just dries out and actually makes my skin worse not better!

Best Acne Products for Sensitive Skin
by: DenEvan

Our skin is a very important for us and to make it beautiful we always try our best but their are lots of things which causes the acne.

Uneven skin tone is one of the most common complaints heard today. The presence of dark spots (known as hyperpigmentation) on the skin can make a person look older than they really are, as hyperpigmentation is associated with the aging process.

There are lots of causes like:
Overexposure to the sun.
Heredity.
Picking at the skin
Hormonal changes, etc.

There are lots of products that work great for addressing both acne and hyperpigmentation.

Don't want acne? Don't touch your face!
by: Sean Lim

Although this might seem like common sense, not a lot of people stick to it.

Well, it's as simple as... not touching your face!

Yes, many people like to rest their face/heads in their hands, wipe of their sweat with bare hands, squeeze pimples with bare hands, or for no particular reasons touch their face with their bare hands.

This is bad! Our hands accumulate TONS of germs every minute; and to touch the face with our hands actually transfers these bacteria onto our face, and cause us to have acne.

So, keep your hands away from your face!

Use Witch Hazel as a Toner for Acne
by: Anonymous

Witch Hazel is my newest "cheap" toner - works just as good as the expensive ones and leaves my skin clean and refreshed without drying. Great for my acne prone skin.

Acne Prevention
by: Anonymous

I'm in my mid-forties and am TIRED of break-outs.

Even though I only get the occasional blemish, it seems crazy that I'm dealing with wrinkles and blemishes at the same time. I don't like piling salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide on my skin at my age.

Any suggestions or acne prevention that's not overly harsh but still works?
