Carmen finds that almost any type of natural nut oil makes the best natural face moisturizer around without having to spend much money at all. . .
She just reaches into her kitchen cabinet.
This is a super simple natural skin care moisturizing method that is an especially good strategy for anti-aging skin care regimes since nut oil has so many rejuvenating properties.
She has tried all sorts of fancy all-natural nut moisturizers treatments on the market, even sending away to Hawaii for a nut moisturizer made with macadamia nuts.
To be honest, while Carmen says it was awesome, however it was also ridiculously expensive.
Then, Carmen learned how to make her own nut moisturizer oil. It really makes the very best natural face moisturizer ever, she says.
It's actually a rather simple process of soaking the nuts, blending them into a paste and letting the mixture sit for several days until the oil floats to the top of paste. The oil is then strained off the top. The remaining nut butter can be used in other skin care recipes or eaten like peanut butter.
She found that the process was rather tedious, to say the least, and also not particularly cost effective since it takes an average of 3 cups of nuts to yield a scant 1 cup of oil.
After a
great deal of
experimenting Carmen concluded that using an organic nut oil right from the
grocery store is just as good if not better than any specialty nut moisturizer product made with nut oil that she has found and, certainly, much easier than going through the process of making it herself.
Simply choose your favorite
all-natural nut moisturizer oil and lightly apply to the skin for a lovely, nutrient rich rejuvenating treatment.
Go Nuts!
The harder to find natural moisturizing nut oils are also a good choice for rejuvenating aging skin: Aloe Vera Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Jojoba Oil, Palm Oil, and Avocado Oil.
Simply apply a small amount of oil and rub it into the skin.
To find these specialty oils check out the
natural remedy isle
in the bigger department stores such as Walmart or your
favorite natural food and vitamin supplement stores.
It doesn't it get any easier than that, does it?
Is the coconut really considered a nut?
Believe it or not the controversy still continues to this day in categorizing the coconut as a fruit, seed or nut.
Even the US Library of Congress and Healthline still debates the appropriate designation of the humble coconut as argued in this report.
