Age Spots from the Sun

Getting Rid of Age Spots
I started using L'Oreal skin concealers and applied it regularly to my age spots from the sun and they are getting lighter.
I don't use sun screen, have an olive medium skin tone, dark brown eyes, and no skin cancer in the family. Every sun screen lotion I ever used made my eyes water and prevented me from seeing well and made my eyes irritated. So I stopped using it.
But the concealers seem to work so well, especially since I have some spots that are gone almost completely. I also stopped going in sun so much.
A girl in cosmetics department in my store argued that the age spots didn't go away from concealer. I know that too, but the concealer prevented the sun going on the spots and making them darker.
That is what I think happened anyways. At least they aren't as visible.

Getting Rid of Age Spots
Louise,
There are a variety of ways to get rid of age spots. A simple yet effective treatment is to simply use a Q-tip and dab on some lemon or orange juice right on the spots. They will begin to fade and over time, they will disappear.
You can also go the over-the-counter route and use a product with .5% to 1% of retinol- vitamin A - or a bleaching cream. OTC treatments will work faster but also tend to be more irritating to the skin.
Also try a DIY home microdermabrasion treatment, face peel, or facial scrub.
